The Ecosystem Diagnosis and Treatment (EDT) model is a web-based analysis tool being used to build working hypotheses to direct habitat restoration and protection activities in most Pacific Northwest salmon watersheds. Keith Wolf has been involved with development and versioning for this model since 1996 and used this model extensively for federal ESA Recovery and state Watershed Management Plans, among other uses and derived model modules beginning in 1996.

The second version of EDT included its evolution to a web-based environment and provided a shared system for cooperative basin planning. Ecosystem Diagnosis and Treatment 3.0 (EDT3) is a modernized toolset based on public-facing web services and the Windows™ Presentation Foundation™ environment.
